Who this course is for

This course is for individual contributors and managers looking to demystify leadership and develop the skills needed to lead effectively. You'll learn to identify skill gaps and mindsets limiting your effectiveness and cultivate the abilities necessary to become a better leader in your organization. It's ideal for those who either feel stuck in their current roles or want to accelerate their growth and want to have a greater impact without sacrificing work-life balance.

You have been managing or leading for a few years but feel stuck or overwhelmed, and you want to identify and bridge the gaps in your leadership abilities to have a greater impact.

You are a newly promoted manager seeking to quickly develop the essential leadership skills to succeed and thrive in your new role.

You are an individual contributor with a significant scope, overseeing national or global projects, and need to learn how to influence people who don’t report directly to you.

Schedule

Six in-depth instruction sessions run every other week for 90 minutes. See below for the upcoming class schedule of our next cohort. All instruction modules will be recorded and distributed to the cohort.

On non-class weeks, coaching office hours will be offered. These optional office hours are for those who would like the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life challenges you are currently facing. If you are unable to attend one of the instruction sessions, it is highly encouraged that you attend the coaching office hours the following week.

Cohort starting week of August 26

  • Instruction modules will be held on Thursdays at 9:30 - 11:00am PT/ 12:30 - 2:00pm ET on the following dates: 8/29, 9/12, 9/26, 10/10, 10/24, 11/7

  • Office hour will be held on Wednesdays at 12:00pm PT/3:00pm ET and Thursdays at 8:30am PT/ 11:30am ET on non-instruction weeks

  • Develop your coaching skills and foster an environment that promotes team development and growth. Discover a delegation process that inspires and motivates your team while building your confidence.

  • Acquire the skills to confidently lead through conflict and master difficult conversations. Realize how to build a culture of understanding, resilience, and feedback within your team.

  • Enhance your team's focus and productivity by mastering the art of leading by saying "no." Set a vision for your team and utilize ruthless prioritization to increase your team's impact.

  • Build an adaptive and resilient team by mastering the skills to effectively lead them through change. Avoid the most common leadership pitfalls in change management and implement a model to boost confidence and readiness.

  • Refine your unique leadership persona, enhancing your executive presence to influence and guide your team more effectively.
